Job Opening: GIS Technician / Geomatician
Job Description
We are seeking a GIS Technician / Geomatician to join our team and contribute to the management, analysis, and representation of geospatial data.
Key Responsibilities
- ▸Collection, processing, and analysis of geospatial data
- ▸Production of maps and cartographic reports
- ▸Management and updating of GIS databases
- ▸Technical assistance and support for GIS users
- ▸Participation in improving GIS tools and processes
- ▸Potential internal training on Web GIS programming
Required Profile
- ▸Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, GIS, or related fields
- ▸Proficiency in QGIS, knowledge of ArcGIS Pro
- ▸Ability to use a GPS device and tablet
- ▸Discipline, autonomy, and ability to work in a team
- ▸Previous GIS experience preferred (beginners accepted)
- ▸Valid driver's license required
Conditions
Contract: Fixed-term contract (CDD) 6 months, renewable once
Compensation: Commensurate with experience / profile
